FREE! Join our New Year Tradition FREE!

Our New Years tradition is to build a roaring fire in the fireplace. We write our problems on a piece of paper and, at the stroke of midnight on December 30, toss them into the fire! All the problems go up in smoke, disappearing with the old year. If you want to get rid of your problems, concerns, nagging thoughts or bad habits, send them to me by 12/31. They will remain in a sealed envelope, on top of the mantle, until the stroke of midnight, when they'll be thrown into the fire! Mark the envelope "New Year Tradition. Or you can fax it-we don't read any of them, just fold 'em and toss 'em. 508-222-4108

  1. What a wonderful tradition...and a sweet offer! I did that to some painful memories once about 20 years ago...I forgot all about it! It must have worked!! I think it's time to do it to a few worries again...thanks for the reminder.
Oh...I came by from Sharon's...nice to make your acquaintance.

  2. Hi Jackie, I came over from Sharon's at Sweet Repose. I wish I had know about your tradition earlier, I could have made it a bonfire! I also read your essay and I'd just like to say God Bless You. That was just too beautiful to read. Debbie

  3. That Sharon got the word out. I loved the story & your shop looks wonderful. My sisters, niece, & myself have a small shop in Ozark MO so I always love seeing new ones. Also, your tradition sounds great & maybe I'll do mine a couple days late. Happy new year! Jan
