I am off to France, going south for some sun,
then to Paris for friends.
and of course...food.
Did I mention brocanting? Yes, I will be on the hunt! Some photos from my last trip to the brocante at Vanves:
I have dreamt of the bird studded planter since taking that photo 6 months ago. Do you think it's still there?

Have a wonderful trip and eat a crepe for me!
ReplyDeleteJackie, to answer your questions, bream (pronounced brim) is a smaller freshwater fish that is extremely prolific and found all over the US. They are a blast to catch on crickets or worms but have a nasty habit of sticking you with their fins. They also are known as sunfish and the type we were catching were bluegills.

ReplyDeleteParis is on my bucket list and I would love Jack Nicholson to take me LOL remember the move Someting Gotta Give ? where he met Diane keaton in Paris?
anyway I am already a follower and can't wait to see what you by for yourself
I love that bird planter as well, it really is beautiful. Someone on etsy makes simple little pottery bowls with little birds perched on the edges. Not as ornate and glamorous as the one you have pictured - but charming all the same!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your trip, be safe and have fun!
I'm a follower and would love to win the treasure you bring back with you from your trip :)
