While riding the TGV to Zurich I was struck by the difference between how Europeans "snack" and what you would probably see American's snacking on. The photo above shows a typical scene. It was four middle aged ladies traveling with a couple kiddo's. A baguette, cucumber, carrot, coffee, cheese. Not a sweet in sight. I took a water bottle, honey drops, coffee drops, and something else that I can't recall. I know it wasn't a vegetable.
