My favorites are vanille and caramel, oh, and cafe (coffee,) and limon...pistachio too, yes, and violet. Oh, don't forget the orange, that was wonderful (sweet and tart at the same time.) Ohhh, there was an Earl Grey tea macaron...yum! What is your favorite?
I have never had an authentic macaron, only the ones Mark made for me a couple of months ago. His were good, but I had nothing to compare them to. They aren't all that common in South Florida.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I love macarons! These are beautiful! I especially love that you have a bite out of every flavor! My favorite is mocha! I did enjoy ollallieberry, lemon and vanilla! My family thinks I'm a little crazy because I will taste them whenever they are available at any bakery. I have 2 cookbooks and I guess that is the next step, to learn to bake macarons.
ReplyDeleteI do have my favorites though! If you are ever in Santa Cruz, California, you must stop at Kelly's Bakery! They are delicious!!
I forgot to mention that Kelly had one for Hanukah! It was a beautiful blue with a ganache filling!! I love blue and thought it was gorgeous and delicious!
