My family and I have a New Years Eve ritual. We make a great dinner and then eat it while sitting around the fireplace in our living room. We keep the fire going as we spend the evening talking about the year that is ending...what we did, what we didn't do, what we wished we'd done differently. Then we write any nagging problems on pieces of paper, and at the stroke of midnight, we throw the problems into the fireplace and watch them disappear, the flames devouring them right before our eyes.

If you have any problems you'd like us to burn up for you,

snail mail them or email them to:

Bliss Farm Antiques
417 Tremont St.
Rehoboth, Ma. 02769

Make sure we get them before 1/1/11. We'll put them in a basket on the mantle until12/31/10 when, at the stroke of midnight, they'll be thrown into the fire!
