Antique European Grainsacks made into Handbags! Ooh, la la!

Bliss Farm Antiques Handbags made with Antique European Grain Sacks and Vintage American Sugar/Flour bags

Think globally, act locally...
Re-use, re-configure, re-claim...
Proudly made in Massachusetts

Useful, lovely handbags, made from antique and vintage textiles. Fabrics that were hand-grown, hand-retted, and hand-loomed by people who honed their craft. Fabrics that were so well made they lasted through generations handed down from father to son. Originally used to take grain to market, the colors and designs were used for identification, farmers could go to the market at the end of the day, find their bags and retrieve them for re-use.
