CRITTERS!

If you read the Friday Foodie page of this blog you know that I am working on a story about Community Supported Agriculture and that I am picking up a "share" of fresh organic produce every week. Sometimes I get more than I can cook up so I decided to play a bit with the vegetables.
gourd, ornamental peppers, seeds and twigs

zucchini squash, seeds, pipe cleaner
Hubbard squash, seeds, grass plume, pine branches
gourd, straight pins for eyes
hubbard squash, berries, boxwood stem

Have you ever seen a partridge in a hubbard squash? Or a swan in a gourd? Of course you have! Let your imagination take off...
