They are not doubles, and they are on the small side. They are an antique variety that I got from an old farm here in Rehoboth. They have a strong and intoxicating scent! Obviously they are from before the time when breeders got hold of things-usually breeding for looks and size and forgetting scent. I don't even think they have a name. I am hoping your email shows up when I click on your name above...hmmm, let's check.jacklynn4https://www.blogger.com/profile/07183194294955824910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5914922878931916120.post-70933458699035956012009-06-09T17:30:11.698-04:002009-06-09T17:30:11.698-04:00Hi, I just spoke to you on the phone- you have a g...Hi, I just spoke to you on the phone- you have a great energetic voice. I'm so gl...Thanks for coming to visit my blog. I'm so glad you popped in so I could come over and have a look at yours. $1. a peonie. That's a good deal - mine would cost at least 3 bucks a stem, in my mind only. Great way to make some extra money and get the kids involved. I love peonies too. I guess you must have variety to keep them coming for some time. What a neat farm/business. I gotta go now so I can read the rest of your blog. I made those does. I start with chicken wire and just keep on till I finish. It actually takes longer than clay. In a past blog, I tell more about them. Type in red dog at the top left of my blog and it will take you to the specific blog. Also, another paper mache piece of a woman (type in Picasso Redux). I have a life-sized horse in my dining room I'll be showing soon. (paper mache of course).donna bakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13507579686738843451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5914922878931916120.post-31663797749493366602009-06-03T10:09:06.372-04:002009-06-03T10:09:06.372-04:00great photos! that is alot of peonies!great photos! that is alot of peonies!Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15784845946746857708noreply@blogger.com
